The Vaporesso Armour OCTA is a rugged 220W direct-to-lung kit built around two removable 18650 batteries. It pairs a new AXON 3.0 mod with the top-airflow iTank T, two GTi Dual Mesh coils, a physical sliding lock and unusually specific protection claims: IP68, IP69K and MIL-STD-810H drop resistance.
On paper, the OCTA is more than a cosmetic Armour Max refresh. Vaporesso adds manufacturer-listed dust, water and impact testing, battery-pair monitoring, charging-temperature protection and dual-mesh coils. The trade-off is that the Armour Max accepts either 21700 or 18650 cells, while the OCTA is limited to two 18650 batteries.
This is a specification-led first look, not a hands-on review. Vaporesso’s product page was live at publication, while French authorized wholesaler LVP Distribution listed September 10 for its French channel. That date is not presented here as Vaporesso’s official global release date. A retail unit and final user manual were not available to us, so experiential claims remain unverified.
